(Bowling Green, KY) — The South Warren Spartans took the trip down the road to face The Bowling Green Purples in a district match up. The 14th district is led by two teams that can make a run in Diddle Arena this March.
The Purples and Dragons both showed their domination of the 14th tonight, but Bowling Green hasn’t lost a district matchup to South Warren or Greenwood since 2010. The Purples extended their winning streak over South Warren to 36-0.
Senior guard Luke Idlett led Coach Sherrill’s offense with multiple buckets throughout the contest. Bowling Green’s efficiency and ball movement spread of the Spartan defense multiple times in the competition.
Now, the big game is set for next week. Warren Central and Bowling Green play next Friday, February 7th at Warren Central.
